Sales Administrator

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, related duties include Administration of purchase and sales contracts, Sales order entry, corporate purchasing and sales reporting, transport and warehouse scheduling as well as verification of related corporate sales and marketing documents. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administration of purchase and sales contracts, including documentary monitoring of the contract from beginning to end.
  • Coordination of contract changes and corrections.
  • Sales order entry and order changes.
  • Truck and rail car scheduling including warehouse transfer planning and shipment scheduling.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting of shipment status, customer issues, related production guidance, associated stock inventories and sales realizations.
  • Purchase and sales pricing/hedge processing and reporting.
  • Verification of all documents in compliance with Glencore’s internal guidelines.
  • Close interaction with worldwide offices for guidance on Chartering, Insurance, Finance, Legal and Compliance.
  • Other requirements.

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in related Business management, Supply chain or Purchasing capacity.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt to different communication styles.
  • Experience working on SAP is an asset for this position.
  • Excellent administrative skills ideally gained in a sales department or in A/R, A/P.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team or independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Purchase and sales pricing/hedge processing and reporting.
  • Verification of all documents in compliance with Glencore's internal guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to quickly learn and grasp new concepts
  • Motivated, flexible and detail-oriented.
